Alan Stewart
General Manager
Alan, is a lawyer from the Universidad de los Andes, with a specialization in Mining and Petroleum Law at the Externado University of Colombia and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Alan has worked both as a college professor and a lawyer.
As a layer he has worked for the Canadian mining company Pacific Coal Resources. He was also the Legal Director of the Chamber of Petroleum Services (Campetrol), where he managed relations with companies such as Halliburton, Schlumberger, Weatherford and Ecopetrol among many others. After these, he was appointed Executive Director of the Chamber of Petroleum Services (Campetrol) where he responded directly to the Board of Directors of this institution. Alan has also worked as Legal Director of Petroleos Sud Americanos in Colombia, a Spanish company with operations in Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.
Most recently Alan was the General Manager of Inverisones Santa Teresita, an investment firm specializing in real estate projects in Colombia and the United States.
Alan has been part of the Board of Directors of C.I. JAM company Minera de Boyacá, member of the Board of Directors of the Las Flores Port Society in Barranquilla and member of the Board of Directors of Prospecta Hydrocarbon Corporation in Pánama.
Currently he runs MAS Inversiones Colombia and its subsidiary MAPE Group. His passion is flying and teaching.
